~ As ever, surprises!…this female Monticola solitarius, 蓝矶鸫, Blue Rock Thrush, was a first sighting for me…it's the National Bird of Malta, thus a wide-ranging species…although very distant on Tai Lei's beach rocks, these images were taken with the 400mm f/2.8L IS II super telephoto lens on the EOS 1D X
