~ Of all smaller avian species observed during a safari in Kenya, none is more readily identifiable than a male Vidua paradisaea, Eastern Paradise-Whydah, in breeding plumage...photographing this Vidua paradisaea was especially enjoyable as it remained perched near the safari van long enough for several images to be made before flying off
