~ In a small garden immediately west of the 2nd floor entrance of Teaching Building #803 at the university's North Campus, Lycoris radiata, Red Spider Lily, bloomed on the final days of Summer, 2017. Several Papilio bianor, Chinese Peacock Swallowtail butterflies were visiting the blooms to sip nectar, brightening an otherwise overcast morning.
