~ Our flight to Kunming was scheduled for the evening, so we spent the afternoon in Jinghong's Chunhuan Park…there were numerous peacocks wandering about…my mood blackened when we headed to a tawdry elephant show, which pained me to see…there was no apparent concern for the elephant's dignity…a variety of factors combined such that I wasn't able to gracefully accept the usual inconsiderate treatment…these photos were taken with the PowerShot S95 in the most grudging atmosphere, which I'd not like to relive
