~ I'd seen and photographed a female Monticola solitarius, Blue Rock Thrush, on Tai Lei Island…while walking on the nortn Peng Chau Island pathway a distant bird on rocks turned out to be a male Monticola solitarius, suggesting that as solitary as this species may be, company is not that far away
