~ This series shows a small flock of Numida meleagris, Helmeted Guineafowl, on the side of a track in Tsavo West National Park...what triggered these images was the welcome presence of chicks...I'd never previously observed guineafowl chicks, often wondering what they might be like, given the peripatetic wanderings of the adults...the cryptic coloration of their protective plumage affords a degree of invisibility in the bush
