~ A large baobab laden with suspended fruit was on the left side of the track...careful scanning of its labyrinthine branches revealed Circaetus cinerascens, Western Banded Snake Eagle, perched beside a simple nest of small twigs...owing to the plumage darkness and the tree's shade, making a satisfactory image was especially challenging
