~ My two Tsinghua University School of Life Sciences Teaching Assistants (TAs), graduating seniors DING Hongxu of Heilongjiang, Ha'erbin & SHENG Xinlei of Shandong, Yantai, were my lunch guests at Alla Osteria Italian restaurant in Beijing…we discussed their future plans through a multi-course Italian meal, similar to those I enjoyed in Venice, Italy last week…while all was superb, the dessert wine, Moscato d'Asti, was especially appreciated, as was the complementary cappuchino following the meal…all images were handheld, with the EOS 1D X and the reliable manual focus Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 50mm f/2 ZE lens
