~ This series was taken with both the EOS 1D X and Sony RX1 R cameras, the latter used as we were departing after having observed the Lycaon pictus pack...they ranged themselves out along the red earth track, lounging both in the track and on the sides...they were seemingly at their ease save for during our departure, when a number of healthy-looking younger African Wild Dogs ran after the safari van, their eyes shining...was it curiosity? a game? hunting?
