~ North of the downtown Hanzhong area is Xianyin Mosque, 仙隐寺. Seldom visited and not shown on local city maps, it's a 600+ year old mosque constructed in Chinese-style. The quiet mosque precincts are tranquil, with potted plants as decoration. White geese are reared in the back, and fruit trees are planted by the entrance. In each of several visits there was warm hospitality shown. Perhaps the most congenial spot in Hanzhong.
