~ All images in this 4th of July dawn series were handheld, shot out of my 8th floor kitchen window…there has been no post-processing of any sort and no cropping…the Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 100mm f/2 ZE lens on the EOS 1D X faithfully captured what may have been the most intensely sublime dawn that I've seen during fourteen years of service as an instructor in China
