~ A small stream — less than a full-fledged river — flowed through the arid region. A small group of Kobus ellipsiprymnus, Common Waterbuck, was walking toward the stream as we arrived. Their hooves splashed in the flowing stream during their crossing. They looked back at us, their thoughts and perceptions as opaque to us as ours to them. Where is Dr. Dolittle when he's needed?
