~ A group of eight Cinnyricinclus leucogaster, Violet-backed Starling, was in a tree with a solitary Streptopelia semitorquata, Red-eyed Dove. There were four males and four females, all chattering and preening as the dove looked on. The intensely saturated violet plumage was perceptible in the misty morning's limited luminosity.
