~ Driving past the Chyulu Hills region, past Kiboko on the Mombasa Highway, the local product on offer in roadside stands were dried gourds...crafted into various forms to fulfill household functions or purely for decorative effect, what impressed me was the neatness of each stand...although there would be no feasible means of bringing them back to Beijing, they would make fine gifts
