~ Although I continued to suffer the effects of a severe respiratory infection, this afternoon I was joined by LIN Guoming in a visit to Ms. CHU Pei in Zhongguancun…I bought a "Shorty Forty", EF 40mm f/2.8 STM, for myself and a second copy as a gift to be shipped to a photographer friend in China…as ever, Ms. CHU Pei was friendly and cheerful…Guoming treated me to dinner at the Wangfujing Burger King afterwards, telling me about his own purchase, yesterday, of an Apple MacBook!
