~ Even the most magical game drives come to an end, with sunset a reminder that effulgent day is part of a far greater universe, wherein planets rotate and orbit around the blazing solar furnace. Our day in Meru National Park began in drizzling rain but concluded bathed in soft golden light, tiny quelea huddled together on a bush as stately giraffes walked in single file to an unknown nocturnal rendezvous.
