~ Saruni drove me through the empty park roads to the Exit Gate for Nairobi National Park. The cloud-free morning was ideal, brightened by bird song. We slowed to observe raptors, ibis and warthogs. I'd never seen the gate so calm, without any visitors preparing to enter the park. Thanking Saruni, I expressed my gratitude to him and to his colleagues at the Nairobi Tented Camp for the memorable stay.
