~ These sample handheld images were taken with the Sony RX1 R camera, while strolling along the Guangzhou Greenway, which follows the Pearl River (珠江)...I walked to Guangzhou Tower (广州塔) and back to the hotel where I stayed for one week, the Gold Coast Marina Club, while giving a workshop on scientific writing for academic publication...I was impressed throughout the walk by the clean, well-maintained surroundings, happy persons of all ages, including in-line skaters, grandparents with infants, apricot poodles being exercised, friends pausing for snapshots
