~ It was my fifth safari in Kenya and my fifth time to enjoy bird photography in the gardens of the National Museum of Kenya…during that time I've spotted but never clearly photographed a male Nectarinia kilimensis, Bronzy Sunbird…during the thundershower, my elusive photographic prey was perched on an agave spike with seedpods…I ruefully thought during the downpour that these precious images came at quite a price…nonetheless his steady pose made possible these images
