~ When we neared the top of the ridge to the southeast of Lake Nakuru, he paused for CHEN Jian and I to take a few final images of the lake from the elevated vantage point…despite the beauty of the scene, it was sad to notice how the extensive shoreline flooding has virtually eliminated large flocks of waterfowl, e.g. flamingos
