~ We drove in the morning for a couple of hours to reach the Stone Forest, 石林, east of Kunming…the exorbitant prices limit it to the wealthy and Party officials, which was self-evident in looking at other visitors…these images show the fundamental nature of the park, which is landscaped and features sayings carved on rock faces often painted in bright hues…it took care and patience to take these images without any of the numerous visitors in the shots
