~ Water is a recurring theme throughout the Beijing Olympic Forest Park…whereas once the park was a tranquil refuge for various wildlife species, its changed mission now entirely focuses on entertaining families and couples on a day trip, seeking diversion from urban lives…thus the water is more polluted, has floating trash, with aquatic species less readily visible…these photographs show a bit of the aquatic environment at the park
