~ This grey, overcast, windy Thanksgiving was solitary, yet highly memorable, as I finally purchased the Canon EOS 1D X full-frame camera which I've been considering for over half a year…LIN Guoming kindly telephoned Ms. CHU Pei with the particulars, which was the camera, two extra batteries and two SanDisk Extreme 32GB CF cards…the surprise was that Ms. CHU Pei upgraded the two CF cards to 64 GB cards at no extra charge…plenty of memory for photographing Kenyan wildlife two months from now…all in all a very pleasant experience, although Ms. CHU Pei and I had quite a time figuring out how to switch to the 'M' manual shooting mode from the default 'P'…this amounts to a major upgrade in my photography equipment
