~ The Advent of Spring 2014 in Beijing was a sunny day with mild breezes…to mark the Vernal Equinox, photos were taken of an inconspicuous flowering tree planted immediately below the west side of the 8-story campus dormitory apartment building where I've lived for more than five years…the mid-afternoon sunlight brought out the delicate beauty of the white blossoms which contrasted with their surroundings…the Zeiss Apo-Sonnar T* 135mm f/2 ZE telephoto lens was hand-held and manually focussed for all shots, which have not been post-processed in any way
