~ While we were photographing foliage and the occasional blooms during the first hour of our visit, I saw an Ardea alba, Great Heron, with a flight path which would take it near my vantage point…these images were the only usable photographs which resulted from handholding the EOS 1D X and EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II super telephoto aimed skyward…nature photography not only fosters patience but often strengthens muscles
