~ The EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II super-telephoto lens was out of its case, being cleaned and tested...the afterglow of sunset, with twilight orange tones, formed a pleasing arrangement in the western horizon...the image was made at f/2.8, ISO 100, 1/1000 sec. which are my preferred settings whenever feasible...the graduated colors of twilight are rendered with vivid clarity, a transitory moment of beauty at day's end
