~ The Riverside Hide was nearly empty, perhaps reflecting the day's exceptional humidity, heat and atmospheric pollution…the river was relatively low, with very few birds, quite unlike the crowded scene in winter…the signs throughout the Wetland Park enjoining quiet are exemplary
