~ The three of us in the safari van simultaneously spotted an elephant train moving at a brisk pace through tall grass. Anthony suggested that we photograph them passing the Reticulated Giraffe herd browsing beneath towering Doum Palms. The ravishing beauty of the scene is one of the highlights of all of my visits to Kenya — unspoiled by any development, as lovely as Creation's first morning. We then turned around to return to the Murera River ford as Anthony felt the elephants were headed there to drink and bathe.
