~ After crossing a small wooden bridge, two older photographers, Singaporean by appearance and accent, motioned me to look in a quiet backwater…I initially saw nothing, so they suggested I more carefully look…it was Crocodylus porosus, Saltwater Crocodile, 湾鳄, the largest living reptile s[ecies…I expressed my heartfelt appreciation for their kind tip, noting that it happened to be my 60th birthday, to which they replied with birthday greetings…this was the first time to observe and photograph Crocodylus porosus in the wild…the highlight of my 60th birthday visit to Sungei Buloh
