~ In the afternoon of 9 March, 2016 a lesson in basic camera technique and photography was given at Fingerprint Café in Beijing. ZHU Jinjie, an experienced photographer, guided our friend ZENG Haoyu through setting camera functions, focusing, and the principles of managing light. Haoyu later went to the University of Sydney where he studies economics. He was a superb student, as he's quick to learn and very enjoyable to talk with. Several of these images were made by Haoyu or Jinjie during the lesson.
