~ Today is the 15th Teacher's Day, 教师节, I've experienced in Beijing…this image is completely unretouched, as no cropping or post-processing of any type was done…it resembles a sepia-tone photograph, yet the gradations in tone are actually the result of haze from particulate air pollution
Similar to the water tower in the center of the image, instructors stand out in the midst of murky confusion, encouraging their students to patiently seek both light and clarity
