~ MU Tong made this sensational discovery of a Pantala flavescens, Globe Skimmer, at rest on a twig…there turned out to be two Pantala flavescens there…thanks to Tong's alert eyes, Guoming and I joined him in several minutes of extraordinarily close photography…the unhurried situation allowed us to experiment with various camera settings and shooting angles…it was our impromptu master class in field macro shots of an accommodating dragonfly 'model'!
