~ Despite the afternoon's heat, it was decided that we'd walk back to the hotel, as taxis seemed to be in short supply…there was an attractive view of ships at anchor in Haikou Roads, framed by a footbridge, and the gaudy entrance to a Spring Festival entertainment area in a waterfront park nearly opposite to the hotel
