~ On Sunday, 24 January, 2021, I completed my service in China which had begun on 31 August, 1999.

Flying in a Business Class QSuite in Qatar Airways, I flew from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, then on to Chicago O'Hare International Airport in Illinois.

The two flights included a layover in the Qatar Airways Al Mourjan Business Class Lounge.

The second flight provided views of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, of snowclad peaks in western Iran, the coast of Iceland, and the glacier-covered heights of Greenland.

After passing through a snowstorm over Wisconsin, the flight landed in Chicago where I was met by my cousin's husband. He brought me and eight pieces og luggage into Indiana to commence my life in the United States.
