~ In the Northern Hemisphere in 2013, the Summer Solstice occured at 5:04 am…these ten images were taken within the first half hour after the Solstice, and are thus the first images of Summer, 2013…the EOS 1D X camera was used with four lenses, i.e. EF 14mm f/2.8L II, EF 200mm f/2.8L II, Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm f/2 ZE and Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 50mm f/2 ZE…all images were handheld out of my north-facing kitchen window, with minimal post-processing
