~ This handheld PowerShot S95 macro image shows the colony of snails living in the planter on my kitchen table…oxalis vines had been living in the planter for several years…when I removed the oxalis, due to its poor condition, these snails were revealed as having established themselves…I'm feeding very small bits of lettuce leaf to them in order to sustain them until new plants grow back…life is so persistent, even under the most bleak circumstances
