~ This album demonstrates what might go wrong, if a photographer doesn't respect equipment limits…starting down the Pak Wan Peng Chau Walking Path, I spotted this Danaus genutia, Common Tiger, to my right…it was heavily shaded, hence low light, and I was far too close to focus with a super telephoto lens, yet I went ahead anyway, in my excitement at seeing such a lovely butterfly…these poor images reflect the unhappy result…I should have been more calm, stepping back a few meters, then taking the shot, despite the risj that the butterfly might fly away while I stepped back and focussed…call these cautionary images!
