~ As my travels are fairly conventional, I seldom spot any rare species…most of my images are of frequently seen, easily observable species…therefore after awhile, it seems as though spotting a previously unspotted species is unlikely…yet these images of Parus major, Great Tit, in the Hong Kong Wetland Park, record the only time I've ever observed or photographed this species…why I previously missed it may reflect my desultory attiude towards exploration…I'm overly content with refining my appreciation of the familiar
