~ On his fourth day Zuji was examined by local veterinarian Dr. WANG Bo. Ms. WANG Ting served as my translator. Zuji's kennel cough has intensified, so that he was lethargic in the morning, yet boisterous and unexpectedly strong when tussling in the box bringing him to the veterinary clinic. Ting was his first friend and Dr. WANG his second. He's overweight, which will result in reduced rations. After returning home, I invited Ting to briefly visit my apartment where she made these portraits.
