~ We left behind the Nymphaea, Lotus plants and Dragonflies…the lenscap of the EF 300mm was accidentally dropped between slats of the wooden boardwalk…Tong genenerously replaced it in Beijing…these bright red fruits attracted me, both for their color and form, as well as for their potential attractiveness to birds…the light passing through red and green foliage strongly exerted a pull on my attention, as is often the case…as it turned out, stopping to carefully position the monopod mounted camera and lens to photograph the foliage was one of the most serendipitous moments of the Hong Kong Wetland Park visit…after shooting one shot, a bird flew up into camera range, as is depicted in the following photo album
