~ This trio of early evening images shows the receding ridgelines of the hills to the west of where I live, in southwestern Beijing…they were taken looking west out of the 8th floor hallway window of the building where I live…I was attracted to the pale light on the landscape, which was atypical of what is typically harsher and more luminous
