~ Waiting for the Sun to rise, it was apparent that from my vantage point, looking eastward from my 8th floor kitchen window, sunrise would occur directly behind Beijing Tower…the reliable EF 200mm f/2.8L II telephoto lens was used on the EOS 1D X camera…just as the Sun first shone on the horizon, a flock of pigeons flew past...the images were handheld, with no post-processing other than cropping
