~ This is a rare example of a completely unprocessed and uncropped photograph…in other words, this is exactly what came straight out from the camera…this pre-dawn silhouette shot of the Beijing Television Tower was taken by leaning out of my 8th floor kitchen window handholding the EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II super telephoto lens…it required many attempts to obtain this one image, holding the EOS 1D Mark IV camera sideways, so as to get all of the tower into the frame…I was especially attracted to the subtle muddy hues of the pre-dawn eastern sky
