~ We were walking down a village street when we encountered a cockfight taking place…these images depict spectators who were gathered around the specially set apart area where the fighting chickens were loosed at one another…the cockfight fans were local village men ranging from teenagers to late middle aged…there was an air of anxiety, if not tension, perhaps in part associated with betting
