~ On a rainy afternoon, which was a National Holiday, I visited the Montblanc boutique in MixC.

Upon walking in the door I saw in front of me the newly released Montblanc Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Special Edition 146 Petit Prince and Planet.

I asked to see and hold the pen. The idle weight appealed to me, as did the ink windows and the golden piston knob.

I'd arrived to inquire after the recent Le Petit Prince Red Burgundy ink, which sold out on the day of arrival.

Light-heartedly asking if they had the pen in an EF they were as surprised as I was to find one EF.

It was my first Montblanc fountain pen purchase since 2018. I also purchased their only bottle of the newly released Montblanc Homage to Moctezuma I Pierced Sky ink.

When leaving they offered me a Montblanc umbrella, which I declined with thanks.
