~ This handheld 60th birthday self-portrait was taken with the Sony RX1 R camera on 4 November, 2013, in Observation Hide 2D (观察站 2D) of the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (双溪布洛湿地保护区) in northwestern Singapore, across from Johor Bahru, Malaysia…in the background is the EOS 1D X camera and EF 400MM F/2.8L IS II super-telephoto lens with Manfrotto monopod which I used that afternoon to photograph various dragonfly species, a large adult saltwater crocodile, butterflies, monitor lizards, mangrove foliage and flowers and a plantain squirrel
